Artist StatementThe tragic sailor without a sea, who still has an ace up his sleeve.
Once upon a time I was a child chasing cheap thrills from hills and colorful toys. I might have grown out of those boots now but I refused to let go of the childish right to have a free and curious mind. So my outlawish behavior had to sink into a new drink, which became girls - especially their colorful fleshy “hills” and strangely behaved minds. So through my practice I am still trying to work out the unanswerable female code. I have become the lead singer for all the revengeful males, where their key has broken in the door way too many times.
“When you find yourself in a hole, stop digging” I kept digging. What did I find? I find hope and art is about creating hope in a hopeless situation.
